Official Sports was born in 1984 out of a desire to bring Professional Soccer Referee Uniforms to American referees. Paul Tobin made the Shez uniforms worn by the NASL and MISL referees, and started Official Sports with his wife, Marilou to bring this quality uniform to all soccer referees in the United States. They worked with USSF National Referees to develop OSI's first uniform, and those relationships and attention to customer satisfaction became the bedrock of their company.

Paul and Marilou tirelessly traveled the U.S. attending referee meetings and soccer conventions, cultivating their products for the referees that they met. They worked with everyone from FIFA referees and National Assessors to beginner course instructors who needed to outfit their new refs. There isn't a state that they did not visit, nor a customer who did not teach them something.

Over the course of 30 years there are too many friends to mention, too many American soccer referee achievements to celebrate and too many accolades for every partner we have had to try and fill just a page here. But know this, our gratitude is endless and our passion for what we do and who we serve still grows stronger everyday. Many thanks for the past 30 years.
